To build technology that makes financial wellness easy and accessible.
Thrive uses AI, predictive modelling, and behavioural finance. We want every person should have a resiliency fund to meet life’s unexpected challenges. Our vision is a world where you never have to pull out a calculator and manage your finances. Automation of all things money. No time, stress, or anxiety. A system that just does it for you.
We’re our own customers. Frustrated with the status quo, living the same stresses and anxieties as our users. Our diverse team is made up of technologists and former bankers.
Our stories are intertwined with those of users and every day we push to build something better and more useful for all people to use.
Why do we have to take a calculator out when we get paid to figure out where our money should go?
Thrive is uses Nobel Prize-winning behavioural techniques. Studies have shown savings of only $500 has a wealth of positive impact to our financial lives.
We believe in empowerment and not shame. Thrive will be there to cheer you on your journey to financial freedom.
At Thrive, you come first. Thrive will never sell your data or push unethical products
Pledge 1% is a global movement that encourages and empowers companies of all sizes and stages to donate 1% of their staff time, product, profit, and/or equity to ANY charity of their choosing. We provide a simple, flexible, and scaleable model to integrate giving back into the DNA of all companies, especially startups.
Through Upside, CEOs embed giving back into their company DNA by committing to a donation that occurs once their company is successful. Throughout their journey, they connect with like-minded peers (over 200 Canadian scaling companies) and people who can support their business (investors and industry leaders).
So far, 5 member companies have had liquidity events, leading to over $200,000 being donated to 7 different charities across the country. The Upside Foundation is driving the conversation about social responsibility in tech and ensuring that successful Canadian tech companies are a force for good for Canada.
